In line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” national initiative the official ceremony for the commencement of duties of the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs was held on the 1st of January 8, 2025, at the Ministry premises.

Mr. Ananda Wijepala, Hon. Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Sunil Watagala Hon. Deputy Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs, Secretary Mr. Ravi Senavirathne including officers of all the institutions under the purview of the Ministry were present at this occasion.
