A diplomatic delegation including Maldivian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka H.E Masood Imad met Hon. Ananda Wijepala, the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs on 20.02.2025.
The discussion was focused to the tourism industry between Sri Lanka and the Maldives and the improvement of the tourism sector to benefit both parties.

Both parties also agreed to take necessary measures to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in all sectors between the two countries.

A group of officials from the Maldivian High Commission in Sri Lanka and the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Ravi Seneviratne also participated in this event.
