H.E. Andrew Patric, the High Commissioner of the UK to Sri Lanka met Mr. Ravi Senevirathne, Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs on 02nd of April 2025.

The discussion was focused on key security and policy matters, Police modernization including training programmes and international cooperation initiative and expressed gratitude for tourist safety measures.

A group of officials from the British High Commission in Sri Lanka and Mrs. Damayanthi Karunarathne, Additional Secretary of Ministry of Public Security and Parliament Affairs and Mr. Priyantha Weerasooriya, Acting Inspector General of Police also participated in the meeting.
